As the sun rises, the flowers open awaiting the new day full of sunshine and hope. However today is valentines day. The flowers only hope is to be spared and enjoy one more day in the glorious sunshine.
As day turns into night, a stampede of men run to the nearest florist. The flowers tremble in fear, having already suffered the trauma of being sliced and diced just to look pretty. The flowers only hope is to be accepted by the partner and to be placed into a refreshing vase of cold water to live out their last few days in peace.
Oh won’t someone please think of the flowers!
