Keeping Things Simple – A Reflection

Keeping Things Simple

Hello!

I’ve written this short post on keeping things simple as I feel it’s important to reflect. I love sharing some of my random thoughts with you, so I hope you find this post useful. If you do please leave a comment below and let me know!

I had this thought while doing my nails this week and exploring the new ILNP polishes I received (youtube video will be up soon) where I was having trouble choosing what design I was going to do. I felt I should do some stamping but I was feeling tired and just wanted to relax. Instead, I choose to just use one of the new polishes and not do any stamping. Its been ages since I have done this yet it felt nice to have simple nail art. By keeping it simple it allowed me to do other activities I planned for the day such as a quick workout (if you’re interested in my workout, check out the link: https://www.piit28.com/a/3824/VmiHHQQa).

I guess what I’m getting at is designs don’t always have to be complex. Sometimes the best thing to do is keep it simple and enjoy the moment. This can give you a break from whatever you are doing and allow more creativity to flow through when you re-start the activity again. This really goes for anything in life. A date doesn’t have to be a fancy dinner, rather you could go on a picnic. A weekend activity could be as simple as a walk to the local park or calling a friend.

I hope your weekend is going well and you are getting the time to enjoy some of life’s simple things. Try taking even just 5minutes to relax or take a moment to lie on the grass and watch the clouds go by.

Enjoy!
