This is an incredibly exciting review to be writing! This is my very first glass nail file and I am one of the first in Australia to try out Bona Fide! Bona Fide is quite well-known overseas and its great to see that they are now also shipping to Australia. As part of my nail care routine, I regularly file my nails. I do this to not only maintain the length of my nails but to also ensure that any minor tears or splits are taken care of quickly. It has been a few weeks since completing a full set of filing of my nails as I recently cut them a little shorter than planned (oops).

The shipping took about a week via Amazon, which for items travelling to Australia is a great amount of time. The nail files were very well wrapped with protective packing.
I loved the personal touch of a letter from Jess. I’m incredibly impressed how she managed to write on the holo paper! Also, the holo paper is sooo pretty.
The files arrived in a beautiful box. Each file was contained in its own black case with the Bona Fide branding on it and beautiful silver decoration. The box and cases gave the files add a luxurious feel to the product. The files fit perfectly in each case and provide an excellent way to securely store the files among my nail care supplies.
The files
As I pulled each Bona Fide file out of its case a beautiful strong colour poked through revealing the beautiful ombre design. I’m absolutely loving ombre designs at the moment. I know I’m a bit behind this trend, however, I still think its gorgeous. The ombre colour on the file moves effortlessly from the black tip to the clear section of the file. The colours of the two remind me of Star Wars lightsabers and really appeal to my love of sci-fi.
Despite the files being made of glass, they feel very strong. However, I would still take care to not drop the file. I can’t think of anything worse than breaking these beautiful Bona Fide Beauty nail files.
The files work amazingly. I used the black/red file. That effortlessly filed back my nails leaving a clean, smooth finish. I also used the file for a repair of one of my nails. The file managed to repair the nail without damaging the polish. This was great as I didn’t have time to perform a repaint of the damaged nail.
Overall
To sum up, I loved this nail fails by Bona Files Beauty. They feel strong, work incredibly well and are just gorgeous. Once I have worn these files out I will be certainly purchasing more from Bona Files. These have definitely converted myself over to using glass files and I feel incredibly lucky to have the change to review this fantastic product.
