After breaky at the Hardware Societe, we headed to the ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image) museum located in Federation Square. This museum has free entry and is open most days! We all had a ball of a time nerding it out with retro and modern games. It was quite cool to see how far media has come. Unfortanly I didn’t get any photos from ACMI, but I highly recommend checking it out. Its a great place for both kids and adults.
We then headed back to the Airbnb to just chill out and finish packing up. I called up the next place that my partner and I were staying at to see if we could check in early. Luckily we could check in about an hour early. So we headed to the next accommodation to check in and dump our bags.
After dropping our bags we decided to walk around for a while followed by trying to find some lunch.
Having worked up quite an appetite we headed to the Grain Store, but more on that in my next post.
Not having much time left before the first of our group was due to fly out, we headed to the park to relax.
Sea Life
With a few hours left before we were due to meet a friend and a few hours before another of our group were due to fly out we decided to head to Sea Life. We managed to see all the exhibits in under an hour. It can take longer but if you’re pressed for time its good to know that it can be explored quickly. If you go late in the day make sure to check out the penguins first as the exhibit closes earlier then the other exhibits. My favourite part of the was the walk-through aquarium. It was amazing having the sharks and stingrays flying above.
Having some amazing food, getting my nerd on and getting in touch with nature made for an amazing day! The fun doesn’t stop there!!

The architecture alone looks like a mivie set. Its so stately and beautiful.
It certainly felt like a movie set at times!
