I feel like all I’m doing at the moment is collabs which is so much fun!! I wasn’t planning to do a Valentines Day Nail Art due to my lack of fondness for the day. However, with a collab popping up I decided to join in. I kept my Valentines Day Nail Art design simple and only did applied it to one hand as you will see in my YouTube video. This was because I was also wanted to do another design on the same day (keep an eye out for some odd butterfly nails).
Valentines Day Nail Art
Keeping this design simple, I stayed away from the traditional pinks and reds going with a light purple. Sadly my purple is running out so I was having trouble getting it out of the bottle. I really wish nail polish bottles came with longer brushes. The most ironic thing about the base colour I chose was its name, Love Lilac.
After 3 base coats, I moved onto the stamping. I kept this aspect of the design simple as well by not doing any reverse stamping. The plate I used was a Manilogy Plate (aka Bundle Monster) BM XL324. Last time I used this plate I used the designs that took up my entire nail. This time I stuck to the cute characters using a red stamping polish. With the red stamping polish being a darker shade it was able to stand out from the purple base.
Overall
I love how cute this designed turned out! I had heaps of fun creating this. My favorite part would have to be the contrasting colours. I nearly left this on and added it to my other hand. If I didn’t have another design to do I certainly would have.
