I decided to go a little more subtle with my second design creating a Green Frankenstein Nail art design. I stuck to basic stamping for this design. It was getting late in the day and I was looking for something quick to do. I also took the chance to use my new silver stamping polish! I’ve been really keen to use it ever since I purchased it.

Green Base
Given that Frankenstein is typically green, I decided to go with a green base. L’Oreal Paris – 670 Cobalt Indecent is a dark leafy green. It was a little too dark for what I was looking for but I think it still worked.
As with the other L’Oreal Paris polishes this one when on smooth and dried really quickly. Unfortunately, I had to prepare dinner straight after finishing my nails and ended up having a few near misses with the knife. I didn’t chop any fingers but did chip a few nails. At least they were easy to repair and none of the stamping nail art was damaged.
Green Frankenstein Nail Art
For this design I used Plate BM-S248, it’s an old plate from the Maniology collection but they have some of the best Halloween plates (For 10% off at Maniology use code THENAILCHRONICLE). I also used my stamper from Beauty Big Bang and a silver stamping polish by Konad. I found it was hard to get a clear image, and I’m pretty sure that it was the fault of the Konad polish. I have used metallic polishes from Konad in the past and had the same issue.
I’m definitely going to look at alternative brands for metallic colours. Despite this, I managed to get a clear image for most nails, and for those that I didn’t the image was still clear.
Overall
Even though I had challenges in getting the stamping to work, I’m happy with how the design turned out. I really love the silver colour, so I’m on the lookout for an alternative brand.
