Haunted House Nail Art | Halloween 2019 | Design 3

Haunted House Nail Art

This is the last design for my 2019 Halloween series. I wasn’t sure if I was going to do a third design but wanted to do something a bit brighter. I also wanted to use another of my Halloween plates while it’s still the season. I decided to keep this one simple with some basic stamping to create a Haunted House Nail Art design.

I nearly forgot to a base coat. I guess I was just too keen to get started. After adding my base I applied Sinful Colors – Acid Test a bright neon green that when dried has a slightly matte finish. I used this colour in my Frankenstein Design last year. It’s the perfect Halloween colour that works really well with a number of designs. I originally picked it up to use for a spring design, but the colour ended up being a bit too bright. I applied 3 coats to get it opaque. I could have almost gotten away with 2, but decided that 3 would look better.

I then added the stamping using Maniology plate – Happily Never After BM-XL192, a black konad polish and my Beauty Big Bang stamper (Get 10% off at Maniology use code THENAILCHRONICLE). It was so nice to have a new black stamping polish as it made the stamping far easier then it has been. I chose a selection of images trying to use as much of the plate that I could.

Overall

For a quick design, I’m really happy with how this turned out. The images came out really clearly, I especially love the skull.
