Maniology Monocle Stamper and Plate M090 | Review

This is my very first time using a Maniology Monocle stamper, I’m very excited to see how this turns out. I’ve mostly used either Konad or Beauty Big Bang Stampers. The reason I haven’t purchase a maniology stamper is simply that I have enough stampers already and didn’t need to buy any extras for a while. This still didn’t stop me trying out the monocle stamper the minute that it arrived.

Maniology Monocle Stamper Review

The stamper arrived in a small box that said it also included a scraper as well. After removing the plastic wrapping I straight away followed the instructions and cleaned my stamper using dish soap. I’ve seen in the maniology community that if you’re having trouble using the stamper to leave it on a piece of paper towel overnight, to remove the excess oil. I didn’t leave mine on the towel overnight, but I did leave it there for a few hours. I didn’t see any oil which is a good sign.

The case that stores the stamper is solid and feels strong. The lid clips back on nicely and doesn’t feel like it will fall off.

For this review, I used Maniolggy plate, M090. This plate has some awesome patters that can be left as is or could be used for reverse stamping. I chose to leave the pattern as is and apply it over my new OPI polish (see details here). Using some black stamping polish I followed my usual technique to pick up the image. It picked up the image effortlessly. It was smooth and really easy to apply to my nail.

I forgot about the scraper that was included in the pack so I didn’t get test this. However, the scrapper feels like it has a nice amount of strength and flexibility in it and I don’t feel that it would cause any issues.

After just one use this has become my new favourite stamper. The application and use of the maniology stamper were effortless. The stamper picked up the polish with ease and applied it to the nail perfectly. I honestly could not find a fault. Only one stamping attempt failed and that was because of my error.

I can see my self switching to this stamper and this will be included in my next purchase.
