Easy Christmas Nail Art | No Stamping Christmas Tree

After a long year, it really doesn’t feel like Christmas. Yet here it is! So to kick things off for my 2020 Christmas Nail Art Series I’m starting with an easy Christmas Nail Art design. At a minimum, all you will is a dotting tool or something that you can create dots with like a toothpick. You can also add in some stamping, as I’ll show down below.

The Base

For the base of this design, I used OPI Chiffon on my mind. This white polish has very tiny flecks of glitter that add a beautiful shine and glisten in the sun. The polish takes about 3 coats to become opaque and barely chipped during the week. If you’re looking to create a design with snow it’s definitely something I’d recommend trying out.

Easy Christmas Nail Art

Now for the fun part! For the first stage, I created a Christmas tree using a dotting tool. For the tree itself, I used a dark green called Tree of Life B197 by BMC (aka Maniology – use code THENAILCHRONICLE for 10% off at Maniology). I did a practice round on my stamping mat at first just to make sure I was happy with the size/number of the dots and I could plan out the spacing. For the star, I used a gold glitter by Chill Zone called From a Nebula Afar. I then also added some more green dots across the base of my nail.

Once happy with the trees I added a little stamping using Maniology Plate M039 (use code THENAILCHRONICLE for 10% off at Maniology).
This step is completely optional. You could add some other dots, polka dots or add another Xmas tree. It’s completely your own design!

To finish the design off, as always I added a topcoat.

Overall

I hope this design gave you some ideas of what you can do. I’m sure that you can get your dots far straighter then I did with my design. But it was still clear what it is!!
