If you want to create some Halloween nail art without it being too gory or dark then this could be the design for you. This quick and easy design uses a new stamping plate that I picked up a few weeks ago and I love how the stamping turned out. Currently, I only have lighter stamping polishes so my Halloween Nail Art 2021 designs will look quite a bit different. I hope you enjoy it!
Sally Hansen Jelly Belly – French Vanilla
The design started out with Sally Hansen Collab polish with Jelly Belly and their polish French Vanilla. Filled with small dark specs, this offwhite polish perfectly matches its name. I go into a full swatch and review in my post last week so head here to check out all the details.
I only needed two coats of this polish as it was quite opaque!
Brain Nail Art | Halloween Nail Art 2021
For this design, I used a stamping plate by Creative Shop, plate 35. I instantly fell in love. The images have been really well sketched and I was able to pick up each one so effortlessly. In my previous designs using the Lina plate, I wasn’t sure why I was having so many issues picking up the images. I’m now pretty confident that it was the plate that caused the issue, not the stamping polish or stamper.
I’m still exploring the new pastel colours that I picked up so I decided to use a different colour for each nail when stamping on the brain image. The colours I used included polishes from Hit the Bottle:
- Lemon Meringue
- Bubblegum Bliss
- Peppermint
- Apricot Sour
- Arctic Cloudberry
A coat of hit the bottle smudge-free was added followed by a regular top coat to protect the design.
Overall
I’m glad I started out with this as my first Halloween Nail Art for 2021! I can’t wait to use more of the stamping plate! Be prepared for at least one game of thrones design because that was my main reason for buying the plate.
