Review: Glam Polish – Revenge of the 5th

This is at least my second time using Glam Polish and I’m falling in love! Revenge of the 5th inspired by star wars is truly magical. The glitter reflects beautifully and the colour change is amazing. From tones of dark purple to bright space style greens, I was impressed by the range of colours that appeared.

Revenge of the 5th

Given the amount of glitter, I used the UNT Peel off base coat. I’ll pop a link to the YouTube video down below.

When I last used Glam Polish, my biggest complaint was the drying time.  However, this colour seems to have a major improvement. I was able to apply an even coat for each coat and it dried quite quickly. The small size of the glitter meant that I didn’t require three top coats to ensure my nails were smooth. In terms of the bottle and brush, I found it to be perfect! I loved the small label at the bottom with the name of the polish, it is very cute.

The wear of the polish was amazing. If I didn’t change my nails every week, I could have gotten away with wearing this polish for at least two weeks in total. Although I may have required a small touch up as I have been using my hands quite a lot this week.

My most memorable moment wearing this polish was when the lighting was perfect for highlighting the green shades. I had so much fun moving my hands around in the light to change the colours from the dark starey purple to the deep bright green.

It’s hard to believe that the two images above are from the same polish.

Overall rating – 4.2

Its so hard to fault Glam Polish and Revenge of the 5th is no exception. Its amazing colour and high-quality polish truly make it stand out. The chip resistance means that this polish can be worn for a number of weeks and the bottle design reminds me of the uniqueness that comes from being homemade. Despite being on a break from buying polishes atm, I will certainly be keeping an eye out for more amazing products from this amazing indie brand.
