Selected from the simple category of the competition the design I fell in love with how cute this ghost nail art design is! It was so easy to recreate and so I highly recommend giving this design a go! If you do have a go, post your picture on IG and use the hashtag #theNailChronicle. My design may not be the neatest but it was fun to re-create and I’m sure that you can create much better eyes than I can.
Boooo Ghosts
Start out with the base colours, white for all nails except the accent nails which should be painted black. After letting that dry, grab your dotting tools. You can also use toothpicks or similarly shaped objects.
I applied all of the black squiggles at the bottom of the nail first. I then moved onto the mouths and eyes. Changing tools to a smaller size I applied the whites of the eyes. I also added the eyes to the accent nail. Using the smaller tool I then added the black part of the eyes onto the accent nails.
Overall
Overall I love how cute the ghost nail art is. My only wish is that I could get better at creating uniform eyes.
