So before we hit the ‘silly season’ I just needed to use this plate to create some Keep Calm and Polish On Nail Art. I feel that it’s a good reminder to let things go and just keep moving forward. After all is it really worth getting worried or angry over petty items? Just keep calm and polish on!

Keep Calm and Polish On – Nail Art

For this design, I kept the tools simple using Maniology (aka Bundle Monster) stamping plates, and my trusty stamping mat from Beauty Big Bang.

I started out with a light creamy blue polish for the base. I wanted to stick to a light airy colour for this design especially as we are headed into summer.  The stamping plate had a few other images other than the keep calm and polish on the slogan. In addition to the slogan, I also used the buttons and old-fashioned lady. I felt the lady had a bit of a British theme and fit in with the slogan. I selected the buttons just because I thought they were cute!

Slowly I applied the stamp trying to take care with its placement on my nail. For the slogan, I aimed to keep this in the middle of my nail as much as possible. I still need to work on my placement a little but it certainly is starting to improve.

I then applied OPI’s Start to Finish. This is my favourite top coat to use for stamping. Let me know in the comments what your favourite top coat is.

I absolutely love the lady in the hat! I’m not 100% sure of the buttons in this design but overall I love the final result.
