Nail Polish Review: Dune by Natio

Natio - Dune

Dune by Natio was purchased while on the quest for another polish. Priceline was having their annual makeup sale, where I would typically get nearly a year’s worth of nail polish remover at 1/2 price and I was searching for other nail polish deals. Whilst this one wasn’t on sale my partner had spotted the polish and suggested that I give the Natio brand a go. So I went with just a single colour, Dune, to see what it was like especially as I have never heard of this brand before.

Dune – The colour, wear and drying time

Dune is a beautiful shade of pink that doesn’t scream that it’s pink. It’s feminine yet not super girly, making this colour right for my personal taste. In the bottle, it appears to be quite dark with a slight shimmer. On the first coat, it’s clear that this polish strongly opaque such that only two coats are required. The colour on my nail compared to the bottle is certainly lighter but still beautiful.

In terms of drying time, it dried in a matter of minutes. I’m really impressed with how quickly it dried. It’s definitely among the top of the polishes that I have used in terms of how quickly it dried.

The polish felt strong from the moment it had dried. The wear was also impressive. After a week of playing volleyball, going to the gym, cleaning and running a social club event there was barely a chip in sight. All I could see was some minor wear that I would have been easily able to touch up if I wanted to wear this design for another week.

Natio - Dune

Final Verdict for Dune by Natio – 4.8/5

Overall this polish is strong, fast drying and with a beautiful colour, I’m having trouble finding a fault. The price point of $9.99 AUD for the quality represents excellent value for money. I’m looking forward to seeing what other colours they release so that I can try more of their range.

For these reasons, I have given this polish one of my highest ratings: 4.8/5

  • Bottle Design
  • Colour/Opaque
  • The drying time
  • Chip resistance
  • Value for money
