I did this design while on holiday as part of a bday collaboration. The brief included that the person likes pink and pets. So I thought this would be a great chance to try out one of the new polishes that I had used in stamping but not as a polish for the full nail. With the brief in mind, I decided to create Pink Kitten Nail Art.

The Base – Kandi Spirit
I kept this design simple especially as I was doing two at once. Starting out with the base colour I applied Bundle Monster (aka Maniology*) Kandi Spirit. This was a great one coater. I only added a single coat as I wasn’t too concerned about it lasting for a long time as I was going to remove it for my next design in a few days time. When the polish dried it ended up having a slightly matte finish which I really liked.
The polish was smooth and dried really quickly. I’m really happy with the quality of the polish.
Pink Kitten Nail Art
For this design, I used Maniology X MrsWhite8907 M006 a really cute kitten themed plate that is perfect for this collaboration. I kept the stamping simple just using black polish. As I was doing two designs at once (one on each hand) I didn’t want to get too complicated. I stamped this one using my Beauty Big Bang clear stamping and Konad black.
Overall
I was really happy with how the stamping turned out. There wasn’t any smudging and it looked quite cute against the pink. The Pink Kitten Nail Art was a nice way to get back to some basic stamping and refocus on my skills.
