This post continues from part 1 of my easy Christmas Nails 2019 series. Wanting to create a quick design I applied some basic stamping using my Maniology Christmas stamping plate to create Winter Nail Art.

Winter Blues Nail Art
A few weeks back while getting a new topcoat from Catch of the Day on a whim I decided to also get a new OPI polish called Dreams Need Clara-fication. The colour looked so pretty and Catch of the day had it for a lot cheaper then what it cost to purchase from the shop. After about a week it arrived which is pretty good for Aussie shipping.
Like most OPI polishes the formula is smooth. The colour is quite opaque and after 2 coats I was happy with the result. The polish lasted the whole week with minimal chipping. The colour itself is light and airy, it perfect for a winter design. I think I may have found a new favourite shade of blue!
Easy Christmas Nails – Winter Nail Art
For the stamping, I used Konad Silver. I applied the larger, pattern style images from Maniology plate M039. In hindsight using the silver ended up being too light and blended into the base colour more then I would like.
Summary
Overall I ended up loving the subtleness of this design. It was Christmassy without being too obvious! I especially love the new blue OPI polish.
