I received this Butter London polish called Molly Coddled as a Christmas Present and was very excited to try my second Butter London polish! I couldn’t wait to see how this one would look on my nails, so much so that I ended up using as soon as I could for my New Year mani.

Butter London – Molly Coddled
This polish has a beautiful pink-purple colour with a beautiful shine. On my nail, it looks almost the same as it does in the bottle which doesn’t often happen. The polish went on smooth and was easy to apply. The colour is opaque with it only needing one coat to become completely opaque. Of course, I applied two coats to ensure full coverage and long-wearing.
Each coat dried quickly, allowing me to move onto the reverse stamping aspect of my new year’s design soon after applying the base colour. The polish didn’t smudge when applying the stamping as sometimes happens.
In terms of wear, this polish lasted the full week with barely a chip. Given that I was quite active during the week I really happy with the minimal amount of chips. When I removed the polish it came off smoothly and didn’t leave any stains. Which after my disaster with the green I’m really happy with the end result.
Overall – 4.5/5
Butter London polishes continue to impress me! They are hard wearing and fast-drying, two qualities I value in good polish. The Molly Coddled shade is stunning. I especially love the purple tones in this shade!
