I’m so excited to be writing this post! I heard about the Peanut Butter Bar a few years ago and completely forgot about it. I saw them pop up on my social media again a few weeks back and made a point of going as I’m a huge Peanut Butter fan!
The Menu
Presented in a beautiful booklet, the menu features amazing pictures of the dishes. It made it so hard to pick a dish as I wanted to try everything. The Peanut Butter bar features a mix of sweet and savoury food, most of which have an element of peanut butter.
We decided to order the Chicken Burger and a milkshake each as it was lunchtime. I ordered the Peanut Butter & Deadly Choc, my partner ordered the Peanut Butter and Vanilla.
Peanut Butter Bar Food and Drink
The drinks arrived first. Each drink had a great peanut butter flavour to it. It was great to see that real peanut butter was used in the drinks and that it wasn’t just a flavouring.
It wasn’t too much longer until our burgers arrived. The burgers were fresh and hot. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly and the lettuce added a nice balance against the heavy fried flavour.
The peanut sauce that was on the burger was like having a satay sauce, incase your apprehensive about the flavour combo. I loved the added touch of the burger being served with 2 onion rings and pickles. The pickle added a nice flavour contrast when I had finished my burger.
Overall (4.5/5)
I am in love with the Peanut Butter Bar. It’s not just my love of peanut butter, as the food was excellent. On my next visit, I’m keen to try some of the dessert items!
Let me know in the comments would you visit the Peanut Butter Bar?
