Kicking off 2020 St Patricks Day in the best way possible, with some new nail art. I created this St Patrick’s Day nail art design to be easy to follow and customisable so that you can make it your own if you wish.

The base – Green and Gold
I selected classic St Patrick’s colours green and gold for this design. I used Parden my Garden by Sally Hansen for the green. As I was planning to add some nail stickers over the top I wanted the green to be as light as possible which made Parden my Garden perfect for the base colour.
Wanting to add a bit extra to this design, I decided to include a gold accent nail using Many Celebrations to Go by OPI. I was worried that the gold would take an excessive amount of coats without a base colour but I took a chance by applying the gold on its own. Luckily Many Celebrations to Go only required 3 coats to become opaque.
Depending on if your planning to add nail art you could change the shade of green or accent nails. You could even leave the design as is with no nail art. I nearly did because I loved the colour combo so much.
Simple St Patrick’s Day Nail Art
Wanting to keep this design simple I decided to use some water decals that I had bought a few years back. If you haven’t used water decals before check out my tutorial here: How to use Water Nail Decals. You could add some nail stamping or dark green stripes.
Overall
This design was simple and quick yet it looks awesome! I’m planning to do a second St Patricks design for the actual day so that I am pinch proof! Keep an eye out for that post next week and if you haven’t already, subscribe to my blog or follow me on Instagram!
