Working from home does have some benefits. I’m able to start my Easter nail art series earlier than I normally would. I feel like I’ve created bunny rabbit nail art in one form or another for the past few years. This is because I don’t have an easter stamping plate. If I was to order one now, under normal circumstances it would likely arrive on time however with shipping delayed I don’t think it will arrive before Easter, so I went ahead and created Cute Bunny nail art.

Pastel Blue Base
I selected Revlon polish, 410-dreamer, a beautiful pastel blue for the base. This is one of my oldest polishes, yet it still works just as well as it did when I first purchased it. The formula is quite thin, however, two coats are enough for the blue polish to become opaque. The brush is also quite small but once I get used to it I find it quite nice to use. As many of the polishes that I have been using recently have thicker brushes, there was a small learning curve.
Cute Bunny Nail Art
I used a different technique to what I have done in the past to create the bunny for this design.
Starting with a dotting tool I created the outline of the bunny with a white polish that unfortunately, I can’t identify because the label was missing when I purchased it. I have used this approach before. However the next step I’ve changed.
I found a cute animal face among my plate collection, on Maniology plate BM-614 (use code THENAILCHRONICLE for 10% off). I think this is meant to be a cat face but it’s also a little generic so I thought it would also work for the rabbit which luckily it did! The only issue I ran into on one of the rabbit nails was that I didn’t quite make the face wide enough and so the eye hangs over a little. But it still looks cute, so I’m not too worried.
Easter Eggs
For the remaining nails, I didn’t want to leave them bare so I used one of the squiggly line patters on Maniology plate M090 (use code THENAILCHRONICLE for 10% off). Using a purple stamping polish I applied the pattern to each remaining nails so that I created an Easter Egg pattern. In the photo, the lines do look blue despite using a purple polish. I then used my clean up brush to tidy up around the nail.
Another option would have been multi-coloured polka dots or some speckled eggs.
Overall
This quick cute bunny Easter nail art design was simple to do and I loved how the bunnies turned out. I’m glad to have found the face on the stamping plate as I always found it to be the most challenging part of creating the rabbit.
Let me know in the comments what you would put on your nails for an easter nail art design?
