4 Station & Co | Sydney cafe review

Potato and Cheese Pancake that looks like a giant hashbrown from 4 Station & Co

Today, started off being in the most relaxing and lazy starts that you would want for a Saturday! We began our day just lying in bed, eventually making a coffee to drink in bed while watching the world go by and sitting on our phones for a while. Before we knew it, it was lunchtime! Or close enough to it, so I suggested that we check out a fairly new cafe in West Ryde. They, unfortunately, were closed for new years so we headed to the main street to look for other options. My initial thought was to head back to Ryde Saigon, however, I was also in the mood for trying something new and not too busy. We came across 4 Station & Co which has also been on my list for a while.

We took a seat on the window. It was a nice spot as we were able to watch the world go by and were far enough away from others! After selecting our dishes I placed the order at the counter.

Both my partner and I ordered a large skinny cappuccino (haha no surprises with that order!). The coffee’s arrived first, which was great. I’ve been to a few places recently where the coffee has arrived after the food which I always find odd. The coffee was great! Not too strong and not too week. The flavour was well balanced and milk just the right temperature.

For breakfast/lunch, I decided to be bad and get the French toast, that was served with caramelised banana, fruit, ice cream and fairy floss! Each element worked really well together and the banana was on a level of its own. If one element became too strong I was able to change to a different part of the dish. This was a really fun dish to eat especially with the fairy floss!!

My partner opted for the potato and cheese pancake (I didn’t quite capture the exact name). This dish was a sort of potato rosti with cheese served with a side salad. It had such a delicious flavour, which admittedly did get a little too strong towards the end but it didn’t stop my partner from finishing it!

Overall – 4/5

4 Station and Co such great little cafe! The service, food and coffee were fantastic! I’ll definitely be heading back. I’d love to try some of their egg dishes.

    1. Awww thats a shame. Im still neverous about places that are too busy, as we have a small number of cases around.

Hopefully things get better soon. At least you can still get takeaway!
