Maniology Celestial – Swatch and Review

celestial - Maniology | Nail Polish Swatch

A few weeks ago I ordered a Maniology mystery pack which included a few stamping plates, polishes and accessories, including Maniology Celestial. I instantly fell in love with Celestial and if I didn’t have other nail art planned I would have used this polish first.

Maniology Celestial – Swatch and Review

Before I even applied this polish to my nails I took advantage of the swatch sticker on top of the polish bottle and stamped on some squiggly lines. As expected it looked amazing on the white rather than the black. I wasn’t surprised at this result as it’s such a deep blue.

I then moved onto applying the polish to my own nails. The polish is fully opaque in just one coat. Although I added 2 coats to increase the depth of colour and ensure it would last the full week. The small glitter pieces in the polish distributed really evenly and added a subtle sparkle to my nails. The wide brush made this polish really easy to apply. It’s not the widest brush I have seen but it is wider than most.

In terms of wear, the polish lasted the full week with just some chipping on the ends. Which given my activities this week, I’m really not surprised at the level of chipping.

Overall – 5/5

The polish looks equally beautiful both in the bottle and on my nails. The ease of application and that it can be used for both stamping and just as a straight-up polish is a bonus. The polish dried so quickly which is great for quick manicure and nail stamping.

I don’t often give ratings of 5/5, but this polish really does deserve it. The quality, ease of use and subtle glitter makes it an awesome well rounder.
