Each year maniology releases a choose your own (CYO) plate set where people send in designs that if selected are added to a stamping plate. This week I decided to use the CYO plate that I received as part of the maniology mystery bundle. A spring, tropic plate with some really cool plant images that I used to create a Green Spring Nail Art Design.

The base
I started out with a polish that you would have seen in a lot of videos, OPI – My Dogsled is a hybrid. This is the perfect green for this design, as it’s not too dark or too light. The polish gives a natural, plant vibe. I’m about halfway through the bottle which for me is pretty rare.
Green Spring Nail Art Design
The nail art component used Maniology plate CYO Maniology M095 (use my code THENAILCHRONICLE for 10% off Maniology). I was considering doing reverse stamping but decided to keep things simple. Using Konad Green polish, I stamped on a range of leafy images. I contemplated using some of the plant decals but they are more of a dessert-style and would really go with the design.
After finishing the design I applied a coat of Maniology Smudge Free topcoat, followed by OPI start to finish.
Overall
This Green Spring Nail Art Design design was great fun and quick to create. It made me forget about the cold days we’re facing now as we head into Winter!!
