Ice Cream Nail Art | Easy Nail Art Tutorial

Ice cream nail art

This week I was wanting to use some nail stickers to create a fun easy design. I purchased these nail stickers a few years ago in two different designs. However, I only ever got around to using one set of the two designs. I hope you enjoy this Ice Cream Nail Art Design.

For the base, I used two coats of Australis – Sweet Caroline. This nude polish has a pink/orange undertone which is the key reason why I picked the shade. It’s not too opaque either which I love about the few Australis polishes that I have.

This shade is bright and summery while at the same time it won’t overpower the ice-cream decals. Rather than its such a light shade, it enhances the ice cream.

After letting the polish dry I added the stickers. Take your time with the sticker placement. Typically I find that if I try to lift up the sticker to move it to a different spot it will damage the polish.

There are two ways to apply the stickers. Either using your hands or some tweezers. Personally, I use tweezers to grab the sticker off the sheet. This can help to prevent your nails from getting damaged. Then depending on the stickers, I will either use tweezers or my hands. I recommend trying either and seeing which you prefer which could change depending on the sticker/decal.

Overall

This Ice Cream Nail Art was fun to create and super quick!

The stickers had been sitting in my box for a while and I’ve been really keen to use them again. I’m glad that I still have some left for future designs.
