Maniology M046 – Women’s Empowerment Nail Stamping Plate | Reverse stamping

It feels like it’s been ages since I have been part of a collab! And of course, I happened to have two due very close to each other. So I created both designs on the same weekend! This collab was simply themed on reverse stamping. I have two Maniology plates that I bought around April that I’ve been wanting to try including Maniology M046 – Women’s Empowerment. So I select one to use for both collabs.

For the base, I selected my favourite blue at the moment Gelato on my Mind by OPI. This light blue was a nice break from the dark colours that I had worn recently. The other good thing with this design is that I wouldn’t be using any glitter which I used a lot over the last few weeks with my glamour series.

For the stamping, I used Maniology M046 – Women’s Empowerment Nail Stamping Plate, specifically the leaf image (get 10% Maniology with code THENAILCHRONICLE.

For all of my nails except the accent nail, I used My Dog-Sled is a Hybrid by OPI a mid-shade green for the stamping. I was expecting it to show a lot more strongly against the light blue. However, I guess the thin lines of the image washed it out a little. Regardless I was still happy with how it looked.

To add some contrast to the accent nail, I stamped a black outline with Konad black stamping polish.

The leaves were coloured in with My Dog-Sled is a Hybrid and the completed image topped with Maniology smudge-free topcoat (get 10% Maniology with code THENAILCHRONICLE).

Overall

Despite the green showing up a lot lighter than I was expecting this design turned out great! I’m really happy with it.

Comment below what would you change if you created this design??
