ILNP – Tilted Swatch and Review

ILNP - Kings and Queens

This place has been a long time coming. I don’t know why, I recorded this Swatch video many months ago and never got around to posting it. So here we finally the ILNP – Tilted Swatch. This is such a cool polish read on to find out why I love it so much.

ILNP – Tilted Swatch

I started with just a single coat of ILNP – Tilted. As with almost watches, I tried to keep the quotes fairly thin, but not too thin. They have all the chance in the world to be able to drive and I don’t want to hamper that by being too doing it too thick. I also don’t want to do it too thin as it will make it hard to judge how opaque it is.

I was really surprised by this first coat. The polish was quite opaque and I wasn’t expecting that, especially being an ILNP. Typically ILNP polishes will require at least three to four coats. If my nails weren’t so long I could have almost got away with just the one coat. Even if I only needed needing one coat, I would have applied a second to ensure that the Polish lasted as long as possible. Additionally, a 2nd coat generally adds extra depth to the colour which really brings out the true beauty of the Nail Polish. I preceded to add my 2nd coat which improved the colour greatly.

This Polish turned out to be a really nice deep purple. I also loved the shifting to the green. This is one of the aspects that I love about ILNP polishes is that colour shift.

In terms of where I can’t really fault it and this is typical for all Ireland pay polishes. I got a really nice solid week. It barely chips and is really long-wearing. If I had applied a few coats of topcoats throughout the week, I could probably even stretch it out to two weeks.

How to Remove Glitter and Metallic Polishes

Due to the metallic nature, sometimes removal can be a little bit painful so I just so a makeup pad soaked in nail polish remover and just leave it sitting on my nail for a few moments. That’s generally the easiest way to remove these metallic and glitter polishes. Repeat this process until the polish has been removed.

Overall

I can’t really fault this polish, especially the colour shift. Because it’s been so long since I’ve used this polish, I’m not going to give it a star rating like I usually would, because I don’t remember it clearly enough. However, based on watching my video I would have likely given it a four or five out of five.

So if you are looking for something different with a bit of colour shift. I highly recommend giving the ILNP publishes a go.

  1. OMG that sure is a stunner 😀

I use that method to remove glitters, I usually wrap the cooking foil (we call it tin foil here) and that works a treat. I have yet to use these peel-off base coats but got a few sitting in a Helmer somewhere!

    1. Try this instead: paint on a thick coat of any cheap cream polish, preferably a light color. REMOVE IMMEDIATELY! Yes, immediately, while the cream is still wet. When you use plain old normal polish remover to remove the wet cream polish, SURPRISE! The glitter polish comes off with it!
Nobody, especially ME, knows why this works, but I promise, it does!

      1. Thats a really good idea I havent done it specifically but i can definitely see it working based on some past accidents!! Thanks heaps!!
