Concluding this year’s Halloween series, with Walking Dead Halloween Nailart. I can’t think of a better way to end this series as there is nothing more classic for Halloween the zombies!! For me personally, I really enjoyed the first 1-2 seasons of walking dead but grew tired of it by the 3rd season. Let me know if are a fan of the show?
Walking Dead Halloween Nailart
I started this design with OPI, Love is Hot and Coal, a dark brown shade. This polish was originally brought to use with some of my coffee stamping designs. However, I haven’t got around to using it for that purpose and I’ve been keen to see how it would look on my nails.
The polish is exactly what you want from a brown and ended providing a great base for this Halloween design. My only fear is that it may be too dark for coffee nails. Hopefully, I’m proven wrong.
I was a little pressed for time for this design and so I decided to create a few accent nails with some reverse stamping. I started out by adding some intestines that I mistakenly thought were brains a few weeks back. For the first intestine, I filled this in with pink polish. Then I came up with the idea to use a combo of pink and peach polish for the 2nd intestine which looked so much better.
For my left hand, I also reverse stamped some zombies. I made their eyes blue to pop out from the rest of the image and also I was still thinking about the Ice King from my Game of Thrones design.
Competing my right hand I simply stamped the walking dead text, to add some context about the design.
Overall
I loved how the zombie nail turned out. I was a little worried that they wouldn’t be visible but they can be seen really clearly.
