We had a few hours to spare so we decided to head down to Leederville to check out Fry’d, Fried Icecream. This place has been on my must-try list, being added as soon as I heard about them. I had heard that it was a little expensive which did make me reluctant to visit, but I decided to check it out anyway.
Fry’d – Unique Fried Icecream Review
Fry’d Fried Icecream was really easy to find, located on the main food strip in Leederville. The shop is nicely decorated including a cute swing for those IG posts!
Although it is very pink! At least it’s a soft pink which isn’t too overbearing. Rather it creates a cute vibe!
We selected one Fried ice cream each. I selected the Ferrero Rocher with an extra Ferrero Rocher chocolate on top, because well why not! My partner selected the Baklava flavour (I hope I remembered that correctly). We also grabbed a coffee each!
The ice cream was made quite quickly and luckily we went when it was quiet so that we could sit and enjoy the ice cream. Each fried ice cream was delicious, I loved the toppings and the favours. I’m glad I added the extra chocolate to mine. It was such a fun, unique dessert to eat.
The coffee was also really good. I saw a few workers popping in for T/A coffee, so I’d assume it’s consistently good and I’d recommend trying it out.
Overall
I don’t know if it was worth the cost, but it was a fun experience and worth doing at least once. This would be a great treat for a special night out!
I hope that I can return one day and try out a few other flavours.
