I had a few days off and was looking for something to do!! The Cat Cafe Purrth has been on my radar for a while and we were going to be nearby so we took advantage and booked our tickets.

There is a limited number of tickets available for each session so it’s recommended to book in advance. The website is really useful and gives you details on how active the cats may be at certain times of the day. Of course, there is no guarantee of how active they will be.

We arrived a little early so that we could order a drink each and ended up getting a cookie each as well! The drinks were delicious (we got the special at the time which sadly I can’t remember what it was).

It wasn’t long till we were allowed in. We finished our cookies but decided to bring our drinks in.

Once everyone had checked in, an overview of each cat was given including their personalities and preferences. It was great to hear that the cats are rescues. The cats were so cute even with many of them sleeping at the time we visited. After a short time, we were given the chance to interact with 3 very tiny kittens who were being looked after by the cafe before heading to their forever home.

It was great that there weren’t too many people in the space and there was also a place that the cats could escape to.

Overall

This was such a fun experience and great if you’re a cat lover but don’t have a cat. It’s fantastic to see all the hard work to get this place going has paid off. I’m keen to return the next time I’m in Perth.

If you’re in Sydney, there is a similar place called Catmosphere.
