For this week’s design, I’ve decided to stick to something simpler with just some basic stamping using a holo stamping polish. My aim was to create something that would go with a dark purple polish which would be easy to do. So in the end I created a Holo Halloween Nail Art Design.

Spooky Purple Witchy Base
For the base colour, I used Essie, Dressed to the Nineties. In the bottle, this polish looks purple with a green sheen which gives all the witchy vibes. Unfortunately, when applied to my nails it was really hard to see the green. I only saw it once or twice which is a real shame. However, it’s still a really nice dark purple that in the end worked well for this design.
The polish lasted as long as I would expect for Essie which I find has a tendency to chip at times. Overall the wear was pretty good considering I was wearing a peel-off base coat.
Holo Halloween Nail Art
Once again I used stamping plate Maniology M253 as I wanted to have a go at using some of the other images that I didn’t get around to using for my first design. For the holo Halloween Nail Art component, I used Maniology Black Magick B293 (use code THENAILCHRONICLE for 10% off Maniology).
Unfortunately, it was a little hard to clearly see some of the images but I still liked how it turned out, especially with the sparkly holo.
Overall
I loved how the Holo Halloween Nail Art turned out how but I will definitely stick to simple images if I’m going to do this combo again so that it is easier to see.
It’s hard to believe that next week will be my last Halloween Nail Art design!
I’m not sure what I will do after this series yet. Maybe something spring themed!
