360 Bar and Dining Review – Anniversary Dinner

Kangaroo Steak at 360 Bar and Dining

Back in November 2018, my partner and I visited 360 Bar and Dining located in the Sydney Tower in the middle of the CBD. So this post is slightly overdue. However, it was such a great experience that I feel I should still write about it. I just hope that I don’t miss any details. I know that I have forgotten some of the food that was ordered but the pictures should hopefully make up for this.

To get to the actual restaurant, you have to enter via level 6 of the Westfield tower and head up a lift towards the top of the tower. As you enter you are quickly greeted by the front desk staff who whisk you away to your table. Oh, I should mention that this is a revolving restaurant, which adds to the magic.

Service, Views and Cocktails

We were dropped at our table and left with the menus and for the first few minutes, we just looked out of the window checking out the view. No matter where you were in the circuit there was a spectacular view available.

We then chose our dishes and ordered our food and drinks. Overall the service was amazing. It was quick and friendly. This is the second time I have visited and the service hasn’t changed one bit which is fantastic.

In terms of drinks, both my partner and I order a cocktail and champaign. I loved that my cocktail arrived with an entire sprig of rosemary. It added a nice depth to the aroma of the drink.

Of course, we also had to get some fancy sparkling water.

The food

For my main, I selected the Kangaroo steak. The steak was cooked to medium and was so tender. For Kangaroo, because of the very low fat content, it’s best not to cook it to well done!

Unfortunately can’t remember what my partner ordered but I do remember it tasting amazing!

For dessert, all I can remember is that mine was very chocolatey. My partners were light and full of flavour.

The food was amazing and exactly what you would expect.

Overall

This special treat for our anniversary was perfect. I can’t think of any faults. The food was delicious and the service was attentive.

If you have a special event coming up, I highly recommend visiting the 360 Bar and Dining.
