L’Oreal Paris – 552 Rubis Folies – Nail Polish Review

L'Oreal Paris - 552 Rubis Folies - Nail Polish Review

My birthday was a few weeks back and my friend gifted me two L’Oreal polishes which luckily she managed to not get the two colours that I had just purchased. Looks like we both had the same good idea! I certainly was spoilt for my bday this year, so my next few blog posts will likely include a review of the gifts I received including L’Oreal Paris 552 Rubis Folies.

L’Oreal Paris – 552 Rubis Folies

This colour is that deep classic classy red. It was opaque in one stroke and has a beautiful shine to it. The polish went on really smoothly and seems to have the same formula as the other L’Oreal polishes. It great to see consistency between the colours of the same brand. I applied two thin layers so that it would dry quickly.

In terms of wear, it lasted really well. I was in the middle of packing to move house and barely had a chip. It felt really nice on and didn’t weigh my nails down.

Reverse Stamping

I wanted to add a bit extra to the colour although I could have left it plain. With a birthday collaboration coming up where the theme was ghosts I decided to create a spooky theme with some reverse stamping. It was so much fun creating the little candles and I loved how they came out.

Overall

I’m really loving this Rubies Folies and the L’Oreal brand. The formulas are all smooth and consistent. I haven’t come across any issues with the polishes. I can’t wait to see what other colours they release. This is the third nail polish I’ve tried from L’Oreal Paris and I continue to be impressed.
